Syrencot House wedding
Lauren and Robbie’s wedding at Syrencot House was a stunning celebration. Nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, this venue provides a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury. It was a real privilege to be back at Syrencot to capture the joy, love, and magic of such an unforgettable day.
Getting ready at Syrencot House
The day began in the Billiard Room, a bright and spacious suite that is perfect for those quiet morning moments. Lauren and her bridesmaids enjoyed a relaxed morning of preparations, filled with laughter and a few nervous smiles. These early hours are some of my favourite to photograph, as they really set the tone for the rest of the celebration.
A ceremony in the Glasshouse
The ceremony took place in the Orangery, also known as the Glasshouse. This contemporary space is tucked away within a walled garden, offering a light and airy atmosphere that is a dream for any photographer. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Lauren and Robbie shared their vows in a setting that felt both intimate and grand.
Relaxed portraits in the gardens
After the ceremony, guests moved into the walled gardens for drinks and canapés. This is the perfect time for those candid, natural shots of everyone enjoying themselves. We took a short stroll around the grounds for some portraits of the new Mr and Mrs. Syrencot offers so many beautiful backdrops, from the rolling hills to the classic Georgian architecture. My approach is always about keeping things relaxed, allowing you to simply enjoy a few moments together while I capture the genuine connection between you.
Celebrating in the Farmshed
The wedding breakfast and evening party were held in the Farmshed. This purpose built barn has a fantastic industrial feel with its high timber ceilings and striking lighting. The atmosphere was incredible as the sun began to set and the celebrations really got underway. From the heartfelt speeches to the energy on the dance floor, it was a day filled with genuine emotion.
